Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Monday that the winter session of the 15th Assembly will begin on November 13. This session will span three days, with meetings on November 13 and 14, followed by a third meeting on November 18. The session will take a break on November 15 due to Guru Nanak Jayanti and on November 16 and 17 for the weekend.
CM Saini mentioned that the Assembly session would be held on November 13, 14, and 18, starting with an address from Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. Several bills are expected to be introduced during the session, and the duration may be extended if necessary.
When questioned about the appointment of the Leader of the Opposition, CM Saini stated that it is an internal matter for the opposition to decide who they elect as their leader.
BJP to Form Government in Maharashtra and Jharkhand
Regarding his upcoming visit to Maharashtra, CM Saini said he is heading there because elections are underway. He expressed confidence that the BJP would form governments in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand, stating that people trust Prime Minister Modi’s promises, as he has delivered on his commitments.
Training Session for Newly Appointed MLAs
Prior to the Assembly proceedings, newly appointed MLAs will undergo a training session scheduled for Tuesday at 5 p.m., as shared by Cabinet Minister Krishan Bedi.
Meeting of 16 Department Officials Today
Ahead of the winter session starting November 13, a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary will be held on Monday, with all Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries. The meeting will focus on preparing the Governor’s address, which will highlight the Haryana government’s plans and achievements. This meeting aims to ensure that all information presented in the session is up-to-date and accurate.
