In response to recent attacks on Hindu temples in Canada, members of the Hindu Sikh Global Forum staged a protest march toward the Canadian High Commission in Delhi’s Chanakyapuri area. A senior police officer stated, “Additional forces and barricades have been deployed outside the Canadian High Commission. We will ensure that law and order is maintained.” The protest follows a series of incidents involving Hindu temples in Canada, with the most recent reported vandalism occurring at a temple in Brampton on November 4. The demonstration reflects growing concerns among diaspora communities about the safety of religious institutions abroad.
