Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed deep concern over the recent violent incidents in Canada, calling them highly condemnable. He noted that the Punjabi community has embraced Canada as their second home. Mann highlighted that cities like Surrey and Toronto have large Punjabi populations who believe in the principle of Sarbat da Bhala (the well-being of all) and have established their identity there through hard work.
Mann urged the Indian government to engage in dialogue with the Canadian government to help prevent such incidents in the future. He stated, “No one wants violent incidents like these to occur in Canada. I condemn them, and I appeal to the Modi government to take action on this matter.
