This is how the former MLA was caught
Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) had arrested former Firozpur Dehat MLA Satkar Kaur while smuggling heroin near Boothwala Chowk in Kharar. Satkaur Kaur was Congress MLA from Firozpur Dehat from 2017 to 2022. 28 grams of chitta, cash and jewelery worth Rs 1.56 lakh were recovered from Satkar Kaur’s house. This action was taken on the complaint of a youth. The youth had reached Mohali’s STF police station a few days ago with a complaint.
He had alleged that a woman was forcing him to smuggle #. He himself also used to take drugs. The young man had also given some call recordings of the woman to the STF. After this the matter reached ANTF. ANTF made a call from the complainant and demanded drugs from the former MLA. As soon as the former MLA arrived with her nephew Jaskirat to supply drugs, ANTF arrested her. While trying to escape, Jaskirat ran the car over the feet of a policeman.
