Vasundhara Oswal, daughter of Swiss-based Indian-origin industrialist Pankaj Oswal, has been in the custody of Uganda Police for the last several days. Pankaj has written a letter to the United Nations and the President of Uganda to get his daughter released from Uganda. Through this he has said that his daughter is being deprived of her basic rights and she is not being allowed to meet even her family members.
According to the information, on October 1, when she was visiting her industrial plant in Uganda, she was illegally detained by some armed people without any warrant and legal documents. It is being told that along with Vasundhara, some of her associates are also kept in custody. Vasundhara’s father claims that she has been implicated with false allegations. Authorities claim that the case is based on a missing person investigation.
Pankaj Oswal claims that this case is related to taking a loan of two lakh dollars on behalf of a former employee of the company. The family claims that the employee refused to repay it and made false allegations against Vasundhara to avoid his financial responsibilities.
Vasundhara is the executive director of PRO Industries.
Vasundhara was born in 1999 and belongs to the founding family of Oswal Group Global. Vasundhara is the Executive Director of PRO Industries in Uganda. Pankaj Oswal has made allegations of keeping his daughter in illegal custody.
